Terry began his Accounting education at Alfred State College, ultimately graduating from St. Bonaventure University in 1981. While working on his degree, he started working at United States Gypsum in Oakfield, until leaving for Nabisco Brands, Inc as a Cost Analyst, eventually working his way up to Plant Controller. During this time at Nabisco he worked on and obtained his MBA from the University at Buffalo in 1991.
Terry joined Constellation Brands, Inc. in 2002 as VP of Finance. During his tenure, he and his team were integral in the acquisition of Robert Mondavi and Ruffino Wines in Italy, Corona and Modelo beer, and Svedka Vodka from Sweden, plus several leading beverage brands. In 2012 he was promoted to VP General Manager of Constellation's East Coast Operations.
Terry was recognized as a strong developer and mentor for his teams, measured his own success through theirs. Now retired, he serves his community on the Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce and as a board member for Canandaigua Area Development Corporation whose goal is to further develop the Canandaigua lakefront. Terry also volunteered his time coaching various youth sports.
